Product Description
PHPA is formulated for easy mixing with improved dispersion to eliminate “fish eyes”, which occurs when mixing either large quantities rapidly or mixing high polymer concentrations where good mixing equipment is unavailable. PHPA acts as a viscosifier, friction reducer, and flocculants, while also providing some fluid-loss control. PHPA also delivers cuttings encapsulation and improved wellbore stability, making it ideal for slim hole and continuous-coring applications.

Note:
1. PHPA series products have 20-80 mesh granular size. At room temperature and a concentration of 0.05%-0.1%, they take 1-2 hours to dissolve in wate.
2. Packaging is in 25kg bags. The bag is double-layered, with an outer layer of woven plastic and an inner sheet plastic layer. Packaging can also be made to meet customers' requirement.
 
Main Applications:

Main Applications:
1. Polymer flooding: Generally, when an oilfield is in the alter stages of water drive, the higher mobility of water relative to oil in situ causes the coverage of the driving water to be greatly reduced. The heterogeneity of the oil reservoir can also lower the coverage of the water drive. Thus, water consumption will increase, and water cut in the produced fluids can become prohibitive and a lot of oil is left untouched. If polyacrylamide is added to the water as a thickener the mobility ratio is improved, the sweep efficiency is improved to reduce the water cut in the produced fluids and increase oil production. For this reason, our company has developed a family of partially-hydrolyzed polyacrylamides which can fully meet the requirement of the customers' oilfield EOR operation. Our customers may choose our products according to the characteristics of their oilfield (such as formation temperature, salinity of formation btine, viscosity yield of the injected polymersolution,etc.).
2. Tertiary systems: Surfactant/polymer and alkaline/surfactant/polyacrylamide combination systems and advanced forms of chemical oil recovery. Through many years' of research and investigation. it has shown that a tertiary system can be superior to other chemical systems with respect to chemical utilization, extent of oil recovery increase, and investment payoff. More than 20% of residual oil (after water flooding )can be recovered by the tertiary system. The incremental oil recovery from application of this system is from the residual oil which is impossible to be recovered by water drive and/or polymer drive. The newly developed EORPAM-3 and EORPAM-4 polymer have achieved the molecular weight in the range of 18-23 million, with which, when combined with 1.2% alkaline (without counting the influence of surfactant) at 1000 ppm concentration, can yield a viscosity of 30-35 mpa.s.

Product Description
High Polymer Liquid Emulsion HP600, containing partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide/polyacrylate (PHPA) copolymer, is used primarily as a borehole stabilizer to prevent reactive shale and clay from swelling and sloughing. Main materials are acrylamide, acrylates and its derivatives, auxiliary materials are mineral oil and surfactant. Its viscosity-average molecular weight is up to 8 million and it is mainly used to inhibit clay from hydration swelling.

Application Range and Method
HP600 not only has an effect on inhibiting shale from hydration, dispersion and encapsulating cuttings, but also inhibiting water sensitive formation from water swelling. It’s suitable for mud-making and water sensitive formations. Recommend to use in polymer drilling fluid systems.
HP600 can be formulated into aqueous solution for use or mixed in drilling fluid directly. Suggest mixing uniformly and slowly or intermittently. Be careful not to add too fast, otherwise it will form a plug flow.
It should be added timely to maintain the inhibition capacity of drilling fluids. Recommend dosage is 0.4% to 0.8%.
